yeah i went with the original idea, was able to find longer ribbon cables and all is well for now. By the way thank you for all the info you provided, if it wasn't for this thread i probably wouldn't have done it

I looked in the post and maybe I missed it but does anybody have anything on the wiring. I was thinking of doing this and that is the only part I can't find anything on before I dig into this project.

Probably some slight of hand somewhere in the forum engine kind of like an automated spell check function on the phone. This happened prior to my time.

I haven't figured out how to get rid of it yet. Perhaps it is the perfect Trifecta, lol.

have you guys tried out 3d printing? less hasle, way easier to "repeat" etc...

It might just be you. I loathe working on automobiles. Too many years. Body is getting tired. If I have to do some work, I will do it though.
