Today, HSPN TV, a division of HSPN Networks, released a how-to installation video of LED lighting from www.leddomelight.com on a 2006 STI.

The LED lights significantly improved the poor interior lighting of the stock vehicle. The before and after images seen in the video are taken from stills of the video camera.

Certainly looks like an easy install. But I'm not convinced that brighter interior lighting is better. Seems like that bright white light would be rather startling and annoying.

YMMV
I installed these on my Tribeca and they really provide the additional lighting that the Tribeca should have come with from the factory. The LED lights not only match the puddle lights, but they significantly improve the lighting in the cabin. What I like most is that it is a soft light that fills those dark areas which the factory lights do not illuminate well. My girlfriends love them so I think I am going to keep them and give it a two thumbs up despite the high price tag.

I will post pics when I get them!
girlfriends... as in plural? Good for you.

...good luck
I'd like to see a DIY with pics for adding LED's over head.
Has anyone else installed the LED dome lights? Pics?
I was just wondering if it is illegal to have blue led lights in the car in Canada/US? Also, did anyone find it difficult to find the right size of lights for the dome light replacement? By the way i have a 07 5 seats limited + navi.
It should not be illegal to change the interior lights, DOT only cares about exterior lights or lights that shine out the windows (ie: strobe lights, etc.)
I'm sure I'm in the minority on this but I really don't like the type of light LEDs put out. Too harsh and directional for my taste, to each his own I guess.

Usually I'm a fan of LED lighting b/c they put out a "nicer" white light than incandescent lamps IMHO. I hate yellowish light, bothers my eyes...I changed all the lights in my house to more expensive "daylight" lamps to fix this, LOL.

These LED pads look almost too bright for the given application though which can be harsh.
