Very angry!!!!

Today was a very bad day for me, but I will save that story for another time.

What made it worse was the fact that my tire was pierced by some metal object that is now embedded in the middle of the tread. It seems like it has a slow leak. If I try to remove the piece of metal, I am almost positive the air will leak at a much faster rate and its possible my tire will not hold air at all. I think I picked this up while parked on the shoulder of the highway at night when I could not see what I was driving over.

Still, I love this smaller SUV. I cannot say enough good things about it. Sometimes I feel like I want to tell everyone who I speak with about it.

Maybe this is a sign telling you to hurry up and get some 20's! :)

Seriously though, sorry about the bad luck with your new car :(
i love my B9. i get many looks. we have friends that drive an M-class mercedes and they comment how nice the B9 is, and how they dont have as many options as we do, and we got it for $20,000 less.

sorry about the tire though, it happens, im sure you just needed to vent.

Doesn't Subaru offer road hazard warranty on the stock tires as you get when you buy tires elsewhere? You might want to look into it...
You are correct. I called and they informed me that this should be covered under the warranty you talked about. I will head into the dealership on Monday and see whether they need to replace it or repair it.
What was the outcome of this Kevin?
Funny...the same thing happened to me this last weekend as well! While getting my tires rotated by the dealer they found a hunk of metal in my tire. Only, they said I'd have to take it to the local Goodyear shop to get fixed! Having remembered this thread I asked about coverage and got denied  . It only cost me $12 to get fixed but it still sucked to have to go through. It turned out to be a piece of a nail about 2.5" long.
$12! I wish mine only cost me that. I had to buy another tire. :(

Outcome: No warranty coverage.

Out of pocket expense: $172
