My issue is about remote control to lock/unlock doors and sound (horn) function support

Why Do I need a annoying small sound noticing me door lock? Several times you leave car so quickly and press lock running without look back and don't see blinking parking ligths. On middle meeting a big silent question arise inside me: Did I close the doors? uhmmmm

Some hints to your advice
- Tribeca 2009 limited Export version (Panama)
- My key is triangle shape one
- Setting on security screen show "Key Beep". No difference on or off
- Another dummy toggle on setup screens "Key alarm" On or Off don't work
- Horn works fine
- Electric locks works terrific (but don't sound as my old Ford Explorer)

Which way is it effortless (disassembling and cutting wires least) way to implement that?

My first thougth is a cable jump between flash ligth signal and horn

Does a NASA guy know where cut and join?

Welcome and thank for your ideas:wave:

I'd recommend going to a dealer if possible? Subaru's have an "Answer back chirp" feature...when you press the lock/unlock the car should chirp a couple times (not the horn). That should be the "key beep" setting you mention on the security screen. If you're not getting sounds when using the key fob then something is not right. I doubt they would disable this feature on export models.
