Ok help please! Just literally bought four new tires three months ago ended up with a flat tire last night and as we took off the tire noticed that the inside rim or tire part closest to the body of the car had been shredded have to thread on both back tires why does happen I do not know however I am in now needing to get new tires because of cost and only getting tires three months ago I'm wondering if a 245 55 18 will work on my car (06 suburu Tribeca B9) any ideas and if anybody has any clue as to why both the tread had been shredded on the inside part of the tire only on the back tires I would appreciate any information thank you so much!

because rears geometry is bad. most probably - bushings in upper Y-arms are bad.
also worth checking toe arms - they have tendency to rust to the point that workshops are unable to do rear suspensions geometry. (in my case - I had to buy new toe arms)
