Seatbelt warning indicator

Does anyone know how to disable the seatbelt warning? First off, that thing gives you all of (what seems like) 5 seconds to hurry up and buckle. Also it's waaaaay too sensitive...in general. Your in Park and it's beeping?? Come on. Please any tips?

Now they just need to find a way to get all of that beeping to occur when the parking brake is set and one tries to start driving. Being on the foot, it is easy to forget and the little red indicator is hard too see.

Personally, I think they should have the entire Nav screen be filled with the words "BRAKE IS ON!!" when the car is engaged into any gear when the parking brake is set.

I've been trying to get this to work for a while now and I just realised the point about watching the seat belt light. In my '06 the light only goes on and off with the seat belt when the car is on and running. With the key just on the light goes off and stays off. ON and running and counting 20 flashes of the light did the trick.
Here's another thread about it on this site...

It worked great for me, though someone warned that it could cause problems with the seatbelt working properly. Unless I get a technical explanation that this is true, I'm leaving it disabled. :D
