I have a Thule roof rack and cargo box that we used on our van. Checked with Thule and there is not yet a FitKit for the Tribeca. It seems that the factory roof rack has a pretty low load rating, as they all usually do, so I'm hesitant to get the factory rack and use our long cargo box on it. Any suggestions? I wish Thule would come up with the clips that connect to the factory roof rails, like Yakima has. I don't want to have to start over with the entire system, as I have quite an investment in the Thule setup. The other reason that I haven't gone with the factory rack is the wind noise when it isn't being used; I'd rather clip a rack on only when I need it; when we do, it is usually quite loaded.

I haven't noticed any significant wind noise with the factory rack. It's aero tubes will undoubtably be much quieter than the round tubed Yakimas or the square tubed Thules.
