Hi there. I'm new here and have learnt a lot about my 2009 Tribeca, so thankyou.
We tow with our vehicle and the rear has sagged a lot. I have ordered new KYB struts, but the springs will take 4-6 weeks to come in to Subaru.
I cant wait that long, so is it possible to add a 1" poly spacer to the rear springs, without compromising the suspension operation.

Thanks.

yes it is possible, 1" hdpe plastic trace top hats cut out and place on top of the struts. I made mine in 30 minutes, with a jigsaw.
The only problem is i didnt feel they were the most robust way of doing it. once you install longer bolts instead of studs they are the only thing keeping your shocks in place where the original top hat fits into the void in the body. If you are looking for a permanent solution i would take two tophats and weld them together with a steel spacer that would be the best.

why are springs so back logged? i just changed mine took a less than a week from About Heuberger Subaru Parts
