Has anyone else had this repair done? My car has been developing a creaking or squonking sound when we turn or brake moderately hard. I have already replaced the sway bar bushings with poly bushings and had them greased recently so I doubt that is it. Best I can tell it is either this, bad control arms or a bad strut mount.

It should be pretty easy to see the pitch mount if you remove the rear box above the pitch mount. Look at the bolt mount points for cracks and possibly rust. We have about the same amount of miles you have and so far ours has been fine.
