Took a while, but 11.0 is out October 2017 according to Kenwood's web site. 10.0 was August 2015 so two years between updates. The cost is still staggering compared to the rest of the navigation industry updates. If you like the factory and want to stay with it $238 will get the latest disc. I have read a lot of complaints over the years, but given the hardware was designed in 2004 it isn't terrible. It will get you where you need to go with a few extras.

I killed my Nav drive a little while ago and bought a used replacement. It had an unknown version disc in it. When it powered up it looked terrible. Pulled the DVD (was a version 1) out and put my version 7 DVD in. Looked much better. So they do make some improvements to the Nav system over time, even if it is just new icons and map updates.

I don't mind the Nav system personally. Not the most user friendly but I am used to it now. I sure missed it when the drive was dead.

So, anyone want to go in on a group buy? I know people have done this in the past and have gotten copies. Thoughts?

I just came across this thread. I have a 2008 Outback Wagon LL Bean Edition which takes the same nav software as the Tribeca's. I will HAPPILY join in a group by for the ISO's or copies of the disc.

Please let me know!

Hey all - I'm posting over from the legacygt.com forum. We have a similar thread like this for navigation updates. Since our '06-09 Legacy's share the same nav systems with all years of the Tribeca it makes sense to join forces for driving the price down.

I've been in communication with shwabo and posted over at our thread about what's going on here. As of now we have 2 people (including myself) interested in the group buy. I will update next week once I see how many more people we get involved!

I too wish to join and purchase a copy.
2008 Tribeca

If all registered members purchase a single copy of the data together to share would that be considered legal? I('m not the SW police, just honest.
Thanks!

Turn your car on, go under the driver seat, pull down the metal flap, and eject the disc. I think there is a way under the settings on the gps screen but not 100% sure.

I know this is probably long dead but I'd be very interested in a group buy or even a used copy or a "copy" of one of the discs.
