$145?!?!?! That seems rather high to me....what did they do other than an oil change?
Hmmm... every Subaru I've ever bought came with the first oil change free.[email protected] said:wow, that is expensive, of course your in Australia. here in the states, oil change at the stealership costs me $29.99. no need for inspection only after 5K.
My dealer does every other oil change for free which averages out to $17.50 an oil change...not bad. But in the meantime, how do you get such SOA service coupons?HB_Dad said:Hmmm... every Subaru I've ever bought came with the first oil change free.
I currently also get every other oil service done free through SOA service coupons.

Yeh this sounds about right, before I ordered mine I enquired about servicing and they mentioned this amount and said they use Mobil 1 oil (fully synthetic), which goes for about $100 down here in OZHum said:Had my 5000k service on Friday, cost AUS$145 not too bad. What peeved me was when I went back to the car I had oil on the inside trim of the door that got my attention as soon as I opened. It kind of stands out on beige trim. Went back inside to complain and they had it off in 10 minutes, still it shouldn't happen in the first place, they need to be more careful.
I win one!. In Panama, Subaru del Canal made my 5K Km check (oil and filter included) for free!Hum said:Had my 5000k service on Friday, cost AUS$145 not too bad.
