Is this new serpentine belt stuffed?

Put a new serpentine belt on very recently and noticed a few threads on it and it appears to be where the join is as I can see some very small 'dots' in a line. It's a Dayco belt. Is the new belt stuffed? Pic attached

to be honest - it looks like total crap!
I looked at what I bought - cheapest belt in Oreillys -
MasterPro Serpentine Belt 6 Rib 65-9/16 Inch - K060650
I installed it some time in autumn?
Automotive tire Road surface Asphalt Grey Tar

Wood Road surface Asphalt Rectangle Grass


these are only places that looked like joints...

Ok so it seems the joints might be ok but I'm not sure about those fibres coming up. I've actually emailed tech support of the manufacturer to see what they say.
