Irvine Subaru has the '07 Tribeca's in stock!!! I was getting my first oil change on my Tribeca and checked them out. They are all hidden in the back lot until the '06's clear out some more.
Impressions?:
So I finally saw Newport Blue. Think Atlantic Blue Pearl but a little lighter and a little bit less grey. I think ABP still looks better than Newport Blue, but the change isn't as bad as I would've expected.
The new dark grey (Dammit, I forgot the name!) seems to be pretty nice. However, the one I saw just came off the truck and still has lots of plastic on it and is dirty as hell at the moment. However, it DOES look nice, but I am kind of glad now I got the '06 in Atlantic Blue Pearl instead (just can't beat the ABP)...
The blacked-out grille is less exciting in person. Side by side with an '06, the chrome on the '06 just looks classier and blacking out the grille won't really help disguise the grille for those who dislike it. This was actually quite a surprise since I though completely the obvious in the pics of the '07 unveiling.
I bet the mesh grille would look good in black though, but they don't offer it (get your spraypaint out boys!).
