yes there is a way. not sure if i remember but look for "cancel guidance"
What they need is a no audio mode that can toggle on and off easily. I want to enter the destination and chart the course BEFORE I start driving and then turn it on when I actually get into the unknown area, but then I must have my music interrupted every two seconds for something obvious which is annoying. The only option seems to be cancel guidance completely.pqspin said:Thanks, I'll try that.
I think that there should be a button located on the corner of the screen that allows you to stop the navigation at any time.
It *can* be muted completely... which is a good thing.Tup said:There is the option to go into the setup and set the nav voice very low. Haven't tried it so I don't know if it can be muted completely this way or not. Fiddle around in the nav setup and you will find it.
The problem isn't the voice per se, it's the fact it turns the music volume to very low so the voice doesn't have to yell over the music. I play my music very loud, and it sucks when it constantly fades in and out when the whore needs to speak.Tup said:There is the option to go into the setup and set the nav voice very low. Another entertaining alternative is to switch from "English (female)" to "English (male)." We call the male voice "Jeeves." He's got more personality than Becky.morey000 said:It *can* be muted completely... which is a good thing. If you really want to hear Becky talking, you can hit the little speaker button in the lower right corner of the screen and she'll talk to you.
