This error code will not go away. Disconnect the battery and it still comes back.
Is there a way to determine which wheel sensor is the problem or is it easyier to just clean all 4 and hope that fixes the problem?

Try this link. Shows how to read chassis codes. Once you get the code read, you can look up and see which sensor the code refers to.

I am going to try this. I have the same ERSS code that refers to wheel sensors. I cleaned the front two, and am going to replace the rear two once I get them removed from the rusted knuckle they are stuck in. I want to know which one is bad, or if both are. Hopefully will tell me, and if either of the rear hubs and bearings are bad.

It's error code SS, not 55. Speed sensor on your wheel. Lots of info on this speed sensor error and how to fix with a search.

Replaced both rear ABS speeds sensors, and codes and lights went away. Cruise now works too, and no ERSS above odometer!
