Recently had a misfire code on cylinder 1 and traced it back to a problem with the ECM board on my 2007 B9 Tribecca. Found wiring diagrams to the ECM Board plugs but wondering if there is a diagram of the board itself? I must have a hairline break in one of the circuits because I can push done with slight pressure on the wiring harness that plugs into the ECM and the misfire goes away. Release the pressure on the harness and it starts misfiring again. Checked all the connections from the plug to the cylinder 1 injector and also to cylinder 1 coil. All great! Points back to the ECM Board. Have a electronics guy searching the board for a break but don't have a complete diagram to trace our the ECM Board itself. Any diagram out there? Any advice where to send the ECM Board for repairs?
Thanks
no diagrams of ecu itself (at least - that I know of). https://a.d-cd.net/TAAAAgH4IOA-1920.jpg - people have had luck resoldering the chip to which soldering iron is pointing... if that is the corner where you pushed...
p.s. would be good to edit topics name to include that it is for 3.0 engine.
wow good work guys on solving a potentially very expensive problem!!!
