My 07 tribeca may be the smoothest and best handeling car I have ever owned. I traded my 05 Mustang GT and have absolutly no regrets! Nothing wrong with the stang, but the Tribeca actually handels better. The only complaint is in the drivers door window. There is a noticible crunch when actuated up or down. Sounds like a partly stripped bolt zipping over the threads. I took it back to the dealer where they installed a mew "regulator" but a day later the sound is back. Any one know about this or had a simular experince?

Thanks!

I seem to recall my wife's B9 driver side window is kinda clunky when you first engage it to go back up. Is that when you are having the noise? I remember thinking it sounded like the entire window was shifting within the rails before beginning to come up. I don't recall always hearing it either, but I honestly have not been paying close attention.

I need to go back and listen again. I am usually only in her car when we go to Tahoe, and frankly there is never a reason for the window to go down in that cold weather.
