Just picked up a silver 06 Tribeca. So far, its awesome. Just wondered if anyone has installed a cross bar kit for the Tribeca. If so, is it easy to install yourself... and from what I hear, there are only certain roof racks that will fit it, since it is a fixed size.

I'd stick with the OEM rails since the B9 hasn't received a lot of aftermarket support.

Check out this site. Peaty writes some great DIY's. Although I don't see one for the Aero rack.

I don't remember how much we paid for the Aero rack. It was all part of the deal we made.

Here's a link to a good site with B9 parts.

And here is the Aero Rack for $142.00

I put the bars on our B9 it was not all that hard to do. The disadvantage to the B9's bars over the other scoobies is they are fixed and do not move fore and aft.

Thanks guys... Peaty, did you buy a catbo box for your aero bars... and if so, did you go with a standard Subaru box that fits or did you retrofit a 3rd party(ie, Thule/Yakima)

No problem, it is simple. If you can though get a second set of hands just so you don't accidentally hit the opposite side you are working on with the end of the bar and make a dent. Not that it's likely to happen but better safe than sorry :)
