Another Aussie on here, welcome. Where abouts do you live, I'm in Brisbane with a silver Tribeca 5 seat Premium, love the car. Apparently selling well here
Hello mate... thanks for welcome... I'm in Sydney... haven't seen a single one on the street here... although all Subaru dealers are out of B9 stock here ???? that's odd.... may be they all get a long trip to Brisbane after purchase to enjoy the car... :lol:Hum said:Another Aussie on here, welcome. Thanks man.... yes I managed to paint it though, look better huh ? I may want to put some grill on the front port as well (under the the number plate). There's nothing in there.hawker800mech said:Very nice! Noticed some subtle differences between ours and yours. I like the pedals. Are your brake calipers red?
Hey man, the steering wheel is interchangable ! It means if you are left-handed then just pull out the steering wheel and put it on the other side !!![email protected] said::wave: Hi
I am sorry to say this as your car is brand new, but unfortunately they put the steering wheel on the wrong side. I am sure your warranty will cover it though.
Hey, thanks man, and just share with you guys with the new look of HID version. Don't know what you guys talk about daytime running light... but there is no such thing here in Aussie... just bought the kit off from ebay, took 20 minutes to install... and here it goes.... out of my brightness imagination though.... it's unreal...DubyaSTI said:The Tribeca looks great in black! The chrome accessories and grill look great on it. I've seen that grill on a white Tribeca and I wasn't impressed.
Also...I want your tail lights!
Wow that looks amazing! Especially the inside with the blue light. It made the interior more hotter! How did you do that?TribecaAussie said:Hey, thanks man, and just share with you guys with the new look of HID version. Just managed to put the sidestep on.... To me this is a very good solution to get door ding free though...TribecaAussie said:Hellooo SB9T fellows....
Just another week to go to get my new Becky 07..... can't wait though.... you guys are so smart and get a lot ideas though... just a thought.... can I get a custom sidestep for this baby somehow ??? Not sure if there is available mounting on the Becky. I'm not intending to go off road often so... a sidestep would lower the body and make it look nicer from its side.... That would be my fisrt and priority mod for it....
Just jealous with you guys in US though cos it pricies over here ( as well as accessories... ) everything is just double in price...
Anyway, glad to see a good place for Becky and wish you well there....
Vincent
There's no such accessory for Beca from Subaru. It's from aftermarket and my workshop had to custom some brackets to fit it on.timothyklam said:Very nice.. Do you know the part number of the nerf bar? Is it required a special modification to fit the bar?
I bought the bars from Toyota factory, not sure if it's the same model in US, but it's for Toyota RAv4 model 2007. There are not many custom bars here in Aussie so... not many choices though, you guys should have a lot options to choose there.... (just ask Mr Google ...).morey000 said:they look terrific.
Can you tell us which bar you got to fit?
Also- does it affect the ground clearance much?
I haven't taken any pic yet but the brackets are custommized by my local shop though. In front, they drilled 2 holes each side on the body and mounted on there. At the back, they made custom brackets and mounted on the towing mount (they had to take original towing brackets out).timothyklam said:Do you have pictures underneath the bars? Will you teach us how to make those custom-made brackets? Tim : )
