I believe I did read that the 06 has the aux connector on the back of the head unit, so you could probably just take the sub harness out from the radio to the console. Course, you could also swap the head unit too I guess if it didn't.

I have a 07 with the aux port already. Pretty much rendered a parts vehicle now. Question to be asked is would the wiring harness from 07 maybe plug into the 06 with no splicing

Yes, this is great. I use it also. Only negative is it is always on unless I unplug it.

I have this one and everyone says that I sound far away. Also, with the cigarette lighter location being so far from your mouth don't you find that an issue? Additionally, I don't like having to drive around with my center console open all the time!
