Replaced idler and tensioner pulleys, idler was probably ok but tensioner which looked old wasn't real good. Problem is even with tension taken off I still can't get the new belt on! Any hints on maybe which pulley is easiest to get over last or anything at all??? So frustrated at what was a simple job til now lol. Thanks!

Wrapping the belt last around the idler pulley is really the only choice. It helps to have a good leverage on the tensioner so that less force is required to hold it with one hand. The difficulty may also depend on the exact length of the belt in case it's aftermarket. Lastly, it might help to apply some water to the pulley to help push the belt over it.

It's kinda easy if you loose the tension on tensioner with long handle rachet then you should be able to put the last loop on .
But before that make sure that the new belt is the same length as the old one. And then it must go on . Check online for serp belt route scheme.

Thanks mate. It wasn't easy on my first attempt but the second was tonnes easier. In fact after I got it on I thought it was too easy and had come off one of the other pulleys 🤣. Definitely triple checked it was the right belt
