Hey everyone! Sorry if this has been asked here a million times! I'm about to put new tires on my wife's 2009 Tribeca and I was offered a great deal on a set of 225/55r18 winter tires. They are a little over an inch shorter and about an inch narrower, will this be okay? I know it will throw the Speedo off a bit, my concern is fitment or drivetrain issues. Thanks in advance!

As long as they are all the same the drivetrain will be happy, I can't say about fitment those are quite a bit narrower than stock, but for winter tires that may be a good thing.

those tires will sit narrower on your rims, but the tire height is the same as stock (55) so your speedometer will not be affected. Lots of people run a narrower winter tire, it makes it easier for the slush and snow to get pushed out from the middle of the tire, across the tread and out the edge of the tread so you're less likely to trap it under the tire and slip on it
