Hey Guys, I just got my Silver 07 Tribeca. Question on rims trying to decide on which one would look good. Here are 4 of what I picked out. Plus if any one has 22" is ride good or should I go with 20". Thanks

^ lol.

personally i wouldn't go over 20". larger than that you sacrifice ride quality and rim/tire durability. you also lose some flexibility in your tire performance because you'll have to go with a lower profile tire for it to fit with no rubbing. with 20" or smaller you can still have a thick enough tire to tackle some light off-roading if need be. 22" you have to go with a lower profile tire where you run a greater risk of puncturing a tire or bending a rim.

True. I was looking at it and the package that I can get for 22" rims include 265/35/22 tires which has a sidewall of 92.75mm or for 20" rims its 275/45/20 side wall 123.75mm sidewall. Its only 3cm difference between the two tire specs.

Would it 3cm difference play that big of a roll? I am just trying to decide what the best for tribeca.

275 for a 20" wheel? Sure that's not 255? With my 20" I have 255/45/20. The 2" will make a difference.

I saw picture of 2007 B9 on 275 45 20 and it was looking good even it was lowered a little on springs from Legacy B4. So thinking about 275 45 20 why not not 255 - because of deal :)

So I have a 2014 and are wanting to put 22" rims with 255/45/22 tires. Will these fit and look good?

Thanks in advance!

No, changing to that big of a rim you need a thinner wall tire (18inch stock is 55, 19inch is 50, 20inch should be 45, and 22inch should be 35) or your speedometer will read incorrectly. Also, stay with the narrower 255 or the rims and tires will be too wide and may rub when turning (depending on the offset of the rim itself). If you get 22s you will have limited tire selection in 255/35/22s that can handle the weight of our vehicle.

Thank you. Different subject, but do you know if a 3.6 out if an Outback will work in place of 10' Tribeca motor? I have verified that all are the same part #'s pertaining to heads, cam, intake, same hp and torque rating but just a different vin code and block #. I appreciate any and all help as the Tribeca motor is over 2 X's the amount of $!
