Hello! I just completed the engine swap and she runs and drives. There's a problem, though, that's a little beyond my understanding and was hoping for some help. The knock sensor is throwing a code (P0328) and I've tried replacing the sensor and even checked the resistance. They checked out fine. Upon looking at the connector I saw that the JDM engine only has a single wire going to the sensor and when I looked at the old engine I saw that 2 wires are going to the sensor. Do I have to replace the entire harness or do I have to get specific JDM knock sensors? Thanks in advance.

Can you move the old sensor over to the new engine? As long as the threads are right, that's what I would do.

Swap the manifold wiring loom off your old engine and use all the original sensors. The looms often changed between years.
