I have a 2009 Tribeca since new and have had the shudder for all these years with dealer early on saying it was normal, frustrating now after all these years to see the TSB showing it was a known manufacturing flaw.
You mentioned at a high level I have a few posts about this issue I experienced in 2017-2018 and ended up having the torque converter replaced by Subaru Dealer after a hell of a lot of stress. It fixed the problem but damn it was a pain in the ass working with Subaru of America.
My car excellently maintained has 71K miles now. Do you think I may have a chance of getting Subaru co. To fix this free. What steps did you take to guide me and how old was your car and miles when you won the battle.
