oh by the way,

where do you buy torque convertor seals and output shaft seals? are these subaru specialty items? or will local parts supply have them?

Default seals for tranny swap

i bought seals at the subaru dealer today
1-torque converter seal subaru 806750060
right 806735300 and left oil seal 80676352090

I have no idea where they go or if I bought the correct ones

Talking transmissiom swap plus a buch of other stuff

I bought the:
transmission input seals from the subaru dealer
rear main seal from orielly auto part
new oil sender that was leaking from subaru
valve cover seal that was leaking
oil pan seal from dealer- old was leaking

used tranny from ebay 750 shipped c 105 k

I had both rear bushings of A arm s replaced as left side was shot - I think it was replaced about 70 k ago- this is my second replacement

new serpentine belt

new sway bar end links - second time replaced

I plan to drive the car at least to 200k or hopefully 300k

car is driving good - even w/o subaru tranny reprogram by dealer

I pick up car tomorrrow

Default transmission swap plus fixing other leaks

used tranny is in

enjoy my photos

mechanic friend did a damn good job

3rd photo is oil pressure sender leak

4th is valve cove leak

look how easy it is to replace plugs now!

Default P1844 and P0700

Just replaced Control Valve Body due to P1844 and P0700, very straightforward process if you are any good with tools. Car is running fine. there was no symptoms besides the DTC, so time will tell if or

a year and 22k miles has passed after replacing the valve body and no issues whatsoever no more P1844 or P0700
