Default Remove 2nd Row Middle Seat

Hi,

Tribeca states its a 40/20/40. Can you remove the middle seat in the second row to make into captatins seats and allow access to the 3rd row when there are 2 car seats in the second row?

If so, what model year did this become possible?

2nd row captains seats never were or are an option, so if that is something you want they would have to be custom fitted.

^^Agreed^^
Even if you wanted to go through all that fabrication, you'd have to figure out how to "undo" the center seat as it's attached to one of the main seats.

I don't think I've ever seen a removable center seat in any car.

Mercedes R350, Toyota Highlander. Pretty cool having 2nd row buckets, especially with the 3rd row.

I was really hoping Tribeca could do this. I didn't realise the 40/20/40 was only on the backrest.

Default How to remove second row seats camper conversion

Help!
I need to remove the middle seats so that I can make a sleeping platform.

The third row came out normally and simply.

Problems:
1:My orange lever seems not to allow release.... when I look underneath ,the lever seems to actuate... but no seat rotation?

2: where are the front bolts?

Thank you

In Third photo , my finger points to where I would expect bolts... nothing by rivets

Got the second and third row out

13 years of debris. Used the subaru power washer

Found the access for the fuel pump

3rd photo:I wonder if I should go ahead and replace the fuel pump now, only because I have 223k

How long it possibly last?

Not broke, don't fix. I've learned that the hard way. Too many times it turns in to a new problem that I created.

Removed passenger seat 1st row (first row)and warning bell and dash air bag light I is flashing.

Any ideas how to defeat bell?

I would prefer not to put the passenger seat back in

There were four clips on the bottom of the seat and I don’t know which operates the bell

There is black, white, yelllow and grey

Grey “reconnection makes constant ding dong of bell go off”

Second photo shows reconnect

Need another way ... surely people who Use race seats run into this.

Not sure what black , white and yellow do, idiot light for air bag remains on
