Default Cold Air Intakes!

Hey there guys this post is in reference to
http://www.sb9t.com/forums/showthread.php?t=255 where the member 4urxtc made a reference to cosmoracing company.
Well checking the site out I found the following cai's that could work in the tribeca

The first one I am banking on because it has a built in hole and attachment point for the maf to be
screwed into: http://www.cosmoracing.com/productin...d=226&pid=1894

The next intake is the following which I am skeptical of due to extreme bend and the limited clearance between the
firewall also there is no maf connection port: http://www.cosmoracing.com/productinfo.asp?cid=226&pid=1208

Lastly this is the one that 4urxtc referenced, the only thing is the maf port hole supplements in with another straight
tube that bridges the median between the filter cone and the intake tube… see the black tube connecter in the picture:
http://www.cosmoracing.com/productin...d=226&pid=1498

tell me what you guys think about this plan, I am leaning for the first option!

Then as a side I am going to get steel brake lines and rotor/pads from tirerack

these intakes look like they may work with a little work. I have an '09 that i'm referancing from, not sure about the earlier B9, but it looks like the 2nd option you listed would work for me with the addition of a maf port. maybe a local welder could help me with that.

you can build an intake by using a sti or wrx short ram inake and a 2.5inch to 3inch rubber elbow and a short piece of 3inch aluminum pipe and it will just slide in the stock rubber intake hose. The sti shortram intake pipe is only 2.5 inches and the tribecas rubber intake hose is 3inch but the tribecas MAF is the same sizes as the sti maf so it will bolt right on
