I know I might get chastised for this, but does anyone know how much I can sell the B9 for? We have a OBP, 7 passenger, limited, navi, DVD, leather, fully loaded, even extended warranty.
I've been looking around and i'm a bit shocked how much value the car has dropped, i see similar ones running for about 29K. I'm looking to atleast sell for 30K. Wife wants something sportier, and domestic, she wants a Mustang.

I saw a brand new '06s on sale at my local dealer for $31K. Everything but DVD. So my guess is that if you can get $29-$30K for yours, you'll be doing well. Very well.
1st year depreciation is always the biggest. But according to the Automotive Lease Guide www.ALG.com (http://www.ALG.com), the 'beca gets a 5-star rating. The highest category for retaining value.
There was a posting over on the Edmunds forum, that a person just bought a NEW '06 7-pass Limited, with Nav and DVD for just over $30,700, after the $2500 rebate. If that's what a dealer can sell the car for, then that means the best he'll give you on a trade-in will be 3 or 4 grand less.

What's sporty about a POS car that you have to push to the side of the road?
Seriously, to go from such a nice vehicle such as the Tribeca to a Mustang is like going from a fine gourmet meal to a 2-week old Big Mac.
More power to ya, though...

Best of luck to you, but IMHO, HB_Dad makes a good point. I have not had very good luck with Ford products, and my last 2 vehicles were both Ford.
But I gotta tell you, if you are willing to deal with reliability issues, that 'Stang is a nice looking car.

her father had a mustang growing up, her 2 brothers have one, so she's grown up on mustangs, and there have been zero problems with it. i think domestic cars get a bad rap sometimes of being unreliable which isnt true at all. both are 2 totally different cars and you cannot compare the two. now if i was talking about getting a chevy then i should be shot...j/k.
well to give an update: our b9 was rear ended a few nights ago. looking at it, rear bumper needs to be replaced and so does the 1/4 panel. i was looking, that rear 1/4 panel, its all one huge piece, not sure if it can be hammered out. i've convinced the wife NOT to trade in the B9, so you guys will have to endure my meaningless posts a bit longer :D

Sorry about the accident. Maybe being rear ended in a B9 VS a Stang did the convincing for you. Myself I've had many many fords and always had good luck. I love the look of the new Mustang. I'm sure if I were young and single again I'd have one.

actually, she's changed her mind again :o
i think both are great cars and serve different purposes. we dont have any kids right now, so maybe its the best, now that it has gone through an accident, maybe its time to just cut our losses. i just hate going through the whole new car buying process, will keep the forum updated, first, she will get it fixed.

Typical chick!
she came home last night, since our house is a gated community, she miscalculate the gate speed, and the gate totally scratched up and dented the right of her car.
car is going into the shop for the wreck, but now we have to pay out of pocket to fix the scrapes and the dents. i think she really wants to get rid of the b9 now, she thinks its cursed, i tell her she cant drive.
