How Many Qts. In A Tranny Drain???

I Would Like To Drain My Tranny Fluid, How Many Qts. Would I Need ? I Know When You Drain There Is Still Fluid Stuck In The Torque Converter. Has Anyone Just Drained There Tranny Fluid And What Type Do You Rec....thank You

We did a full flush at my shop so I can't tell you how miuch for a drain and fill for sure but it is listed as 10.4 Quarts. You MUST use the correct fluid in this unit. It is only avvailable from Subaru from what I was able to find. The Castrol is only available outside of the US, the IDEMITSU is in Japan and is the actual OE product without the Subaru name. I haven't found any supplier that could get the Penzzoil either. Don't try any special synthetic universal fluid either, it won't shift right.
If it's not one of the products below don't use it, period!!!
