Amp and Sub install to Factory Head Unit

Hey all... New here on the forum. I was wondering since the stock head unit cannot be changed, Has anyone installed a Sub and Amp to the factory stereo? Or is it even possible?

Yeah, a few people on here have done it. Check out the ICE/Security forum. The general concensus seems to be to use a line audio-to-low level signal converter (ie: JL Cleansweap) to feed the signal into an amp.
