Whining noise?

Hey guys, driving an 06 with 19k on it...just got it and I notice in first and second gear I hear a whining noise, not to loud but with the radio off its clearly heard. Supposed to do this? It does not jerk while changing gears, smooth shifts.....Ideas?

No this is def. a tranny issue. only first and second gear whining like its straining? only way I can think to describe it

check the tranny fluid level? when was it last changed?

ahh just purchased the becca last week. it only has 19k on it.....i will check the trannyfluid, Should it have been changed already?
