I currently pay for a monthly Verizon cell phone for my mom and she almost doesn't even use it. Since the contract is almost up, does anyone here have any experience with Trac Fone? I'm looking for pros/ cons.
At only $10/ month for 50 minutes that she won't use up, I think it's a good deal. She's in Boston, so I'm not worried about cell coverage.
Thoughts?

Since you already have Verizon, you may wanna check out their new INpulse plan pay as you go service. Phones are kinda pricey, but you can probably use your mom's existing phone.

edit: eh, maybe not...they've got the expiring minutes like everyone else. Seems that most pay as you go end up paying $20/month min or else you'll be stuck with expired minutes. What a bargain:rolleyes: If trac fone gets you a $10 min, I'd say go for that.
