Has anyone self installed the rear dome/ reading light? I was thinking of picking one up. If you already have one, do you think it's worth it?

Just picked one up this week. With the 20% discount (accessory sale) it cost me $50. I plan on doing the install this weeked and will let you know how it goes and it it's worth the money.

This only works if you don't have the DVD player right? Or am I thinking of something else.

Wow, that looks really easy to install. I may have to think about it the next time I have $50 laying around.

Is this any improvement over the stock lights? Any brighter, better?

The install was pretty simple and the individual reading lights seem brighter than the original light. The original light is used in the new set up and works as it did previously (going on when the doors open and dimming off after closing the doors). After a few trips, I'll let you know what the kids think of it. They're the real critics. :-)
