Anyone notice that the Tribeca is gone on the Subaru Home Page? If you go to the vehicles drop down the Tribeca is still shown but the initial home page picture is missing. I read on this forum that 2012 is the last year. Are they going to drop Tribeca mid-year?

My guess is that they want to flush out all Tribeca inventory before introducing the next version. I haven't heard any fresh rumors about the Highlander/Tribeca tie-up, but Subaru's future developments are more secret than the government's black-ops programs. I suppose we just have to wait and see.

Maybe we'll get the Exiga instead...

The Exiga has been dropped over here in Australia due to low sales, the Tribeca is still alive though. Tribeca poos all over the Exiga!

What a shame!!!! And the comments in that drive dot com article. I love my Tribeca and grew into this vehicle from owning other smaller models of Subaru. At 6' 2" I always felt cramped on long drives in the Forester and Outback. The first time I drove the Tribeca I found I didn't even put the seat all the way back. I really don't know where I will turn when it comes time to replace the Tribeca. Sorry for the sad news but I expected it.

Hopefully my Tribeca will last until Subaru develops the next 7 seater :)

It's a difficult decision, I need a new car this year and with Tribeca going what are we left with. My pick so far is VW Touareg, I like the new model. The murano is a step back I feel. New m class out this year but too expensive. I don't mind discovery 4 but not sure of reliability. Honda don't have a large SUV here just the CRV.
You would think Subaru could build a replacement, it's not like they have a lot of models in there portfolio as it is.

yes, it even states the end of the Tribeca on Subaru 101.....I am just thankful that I have mine; it only has 21000 miles on it, my wife's MB has only 62000 on it, so it will be a while before we need another car.....hopefully by then, Subaru will have come up with something that I will like/love as much as my Tribeca.......

This is bad news, my dealership told me this last year, but I didn't really want to believe it. I prefer the old B9 model front end, which is why I still own an 07.
They told me the new Outback will grow a bit and hopefully fill the need for Tribeca. I'm not so sure... but it will be seen.
