Rotor uneven wear issue

Has anyone had an uneven wearing issue on the front rotors? Mine are way off. Mechanic said it also be a caliper issue.

I have an '09 with the same issue...it is quite alarming to be honest....the inside of the front rotors are severely worn in comparison to the outside. I'll be attacking the issue over the weekend but was hoping someone else out there already did the dirty work to figure out what the cause is.....from the looks of it this isn't the case. might just be a matter of the caliper not "floating" as it should....
