so i decided to give it a shot at the blackhousing. The first headlight was a little frustrating, but the second was easy as pie. I have been looking around and have not found another B9 Tribeca with blackhousing headlights.

Nice and clean! was it difficult to remove the the entire housing off the car?

wasnt that hard at all, pulled out the lights by taking off the plastic panels in the engine bay, then the 2 bolts on the headlight. after that you need to remove the plastic panels under the fog lights and reach up and take out the three screws under the headlights. after that they pull right off. then toss one in the oven at a time, 250 degrees for 6 minutes, remove the three screws on the headlights and pry apart

you know it really was not as hard as i thought. i did 4 coats of black primer and 3 coats of black high-temp engine paint. also found that to be a good time to paint the grill too
