Would you believe the Tribeca has converted me to a Subaru owner. I picked up my 5 seat premium in silver. I got the puddle lights and auto dimming compass mirror fitted (I like my gadgets). Sat Nav & Reversing camera are standard. My daughter loved watching Elmo on the dvd system last night. I first saw this car last year at the motor show and the interior blew me away, I loved it. The outside I was unsure about, until I took it for a drive and I got attached. This car will be a perfect car for my family, looking forward to many pleasent years of driving.
The Tribeca has only been released in the last few days here, and already Subaru can't keep up with demand.
Cheers.

Heh. Oz is a nickname for Australia. ;)

I understood that the Tribeca wasn't priced well in Australia, compared to some of the competition. I think some imported vehicles are hit with import levies? Did you find it well priced in Australia? It should help global Subaru sales to be exporting the Tribeca to Europe and Australia now.

Haven't Subaru's always been fairly popular in Australia?

The Tribeca is priced very well here, alot of us was expecting to pay alot more due to its features. They start at $53990 and go up to $60990 for the seven seat premium. Sat Nav and camera is standard on all models here. Compare this to Murano which start at $51990 up to $56990 with no nav. The BMW X3 go for $65900 - $75900 and the Volvo XC90 $69950 - $84950.
All the reviews here are picking on the look of the car but I don't see the big deal. Besides so far Subaru can't keep up with demand with waiting lists soon to be 3-6 months according to all the news reports.

Subaru has been using Paul Hogan (Crocodile Dundee) to advertise Subaru's for years. We just figured that everyone down under drove one.
Welcome- you'll love the 'beca.

And- yes, the rest of us know what OZ means.

Welcome.

Sounds like the OZ press can't see past the front of the B9 any farther than the US press.
