Hello,
My car is a 2006 Tribeca with 64K miles, at idle, the engine sounds (from the engine compartment) like a very soft sewing machine. I'd guess this is either sound of the timing chain, or valves openning/closing. Is this typical of Subaru boxer 6 engine noise at idle?
