A/C on Auto

Hey I just bought an 09 tribeca 7-pass loaded last saturday. So far love the vehicle. One quick question is that when I bump the heat all the way up and hit "auto" the car warms up fine but the AC button is lit up...is this common or is something messed up?

Nope, it's common. When the system is in full auto, the A/C turns on to take care of any extra humidity in the car.

We have the auto climate control in our 07 and my 2011 Legacy. The cars seem to "know" what it takes to get to the desired temperature. We've kept them in auto never mess with the fan speeds. Just adjust the temp and let the car do the work.
