DVD Unlockable in dash?

Hi guys;

I STILL don't own a Tribeca yet... my wife and I are trying to patiently save the money instead of financing one.

Anyways, i thought this might interest people. I tried to comb the forum to see if this had been posted already, but i didn't see anything. I Googled "subaru tribeca dvd" to see if any company has a dvd to sit in-dash -the current difficulty being that the front LCD is way too integrated to be replaced- and apparently these people may have successfully made things work.

If anyone is seriously interested, i will leave the website (Google translate from Portuguese) and the video showing a functioning touch-screen GPS and DVD.

You can do this by grounding a pin on the back of the monitor unit. You have to pull the monitor out, but the hack is reversible and easy. The hack should be posted in the I.C.E. forum area.
