Fog light bulbs?

Has any one tried installing fog light bulbs in their Tribeca? I attempted to install some PIAA crystal ion bulbs today but it was a PITA. Even the owners manual said to just take the car to the dealer. Any one know what the deal with these things are? It's the same bulb as the fogs on my STI, it's held in by a clip...but I couldn't figure this one out. I even tried to take out the whole housing...no good.
Any one have experience with this or ideas what to try?

Thanks for the how-to. It was more of a PITA then I expected. but it got done and the PIAA bulbs I put in look pretty good and add much more light then the stockers.
