Not sure if others have had success, so I thought I should post.
Had the dealer replace the rubber/plastic bumpers that are on the left and right sides of the hatch...and no more rattle! It looks like the new ones are slightly larger, which I am sure creates just enough pressure now. BTW, my temporary solution ('cause it really drove me nuts) was to close a thin rag in the jam.
Hope this helps anyone still dealing with a rattle from the rear!
