Hello Everyone!
I just bought my B9 Tribeca 2 weeks ago. It's a black 7 Passenger Limited. It's such a fun car to have. I think I'm only half way from knowing the gadgets in this baby :D. It has way too much cool things in it  .
BTW, is there a way for the DVD player to play at the same time as the audio? I sometimes will not want to listen to the movie while i'm driving and prefer to listen to the radio. Thanks!

Welcome!
And you're right about the gadgets. I spent a whole day going through each of the copious books that come with the vehicle & still don't know all there is to know about the navigations system (but I think I got everything else down ).

Only if the rear passenegers use the wireless headset to listen to the DVD player. Then you can change the source up front to anything you want without affecting what they hear.
Congrats and good luck...Joe

Thanks Joe! I knew those wireless headset are good for something.:D
I think I got 75% of the gadgets down pack. I obviously havent had the time to play with the wireless headset;).

Navigation is a little pain. I'm trying to figure out what the last button to the right means. I know it has something to do with "day" and "Night", but what happens when you increase the level? . The paradox of a nifty car.

Is there a way for the DVD display to show up in the Navigation display other than the standard activating the parking brakes, when playing a movie that is? It could be just a sensor adjustment right? Has anyone tried it yet?

alot of the aftermarket in-dash dvd players have an override e-brake option, but i'm not sure if the OEM has it. its more of a safety feature b/c they want you to keep your eyes on the road.

Yeah, the salesperson said it was a safety feature. Most of time the when my B9 is packed, and the back rows can watch the DVD. My front passenger also wants to see the video, i'm not going to lie me too (with caution of course). It would just be really nice to take that feature out.

Not sure if this is what you are talking about but if you set the day night feature to auto and set the dimmer switch(by the rear view mirror adjustment area) a click down the navi screen will automatically turn to a more night freindly version(not as bright and the map shows with a black background) when you turn on your headlights. The illumination of the gauges will also lower when you turn the dimmer a click down. hope this answers your question.

Hey guys, i'm thinking about getting a bumper for the rear, one of those chrome bumpers. Anyone know where I can get one of those? And what is a good look with the B9? Thanks
