Yup, we signed with a contractor to do a full kitchen remodel. He came highly recommended from a neighbor who used him. He is going to rip the kitchen down to studs and everything is being replaced except for the frig.
We are really excited and can't wait to see it completed. All new cabinets with soft close hardware, granite countertops, undermount stainless sink and all new recessed and under cabinet task lighting.
It will only take him 2.5 weeks and in the contract he will be there consecutive days until it is complete.
I'll post up before, during and after pics once demo starts.

BTW, it was extremely difficult to get money from the very banks that taxpayers bailed out. Keep in mind we have no real debt besides mortgage and cars (no credit card debt) and a rating of 780. Yup, it doesn't matter how good your credit is, the banks are holding tight onto money.
