I'd concur, that pinhole leaks combined with the fact there is no low-coolant sensor in the Tribeca likely is the result of many headgasket failures. And there are many more soft lines on this motor than I'm used to seeing on most cars. Headgasket sealant that last owner tried using was a death sentence for the motor.

After I swapped the motor in mine out, I found 3 pinhole leaks that could have easily taken out the headgasket had I not been paying attention after the swap. (Throttle body line, hard line to passenger side, and one soft line from the water pump)

Easiest way to spot it, just run dye through the system if a leak is suspected.
