Default Center Console Lower Drawer Stuck

Need help with my 06. The lower drawer for the center console is stuck. At first I thought something may have just been stuck inside the drawer, but I ran a clothes hanger through and didn't catch on anything. Next I tried taking the center console out all together. Removed the trim ring and panel around the shifter, pulled the screws there then pulled the four inside the console main compartment. It comes loose and will shift backwards a few inches but then catches in about the same place the drawer seemed to be catching? Any ideas?

The drawer does need to come out to remove the console, because it sits under the bracket to which the console box is fastened with screws through the bottom of the storage compartment. How far can it be pulled out?

Is it possible some sugary drink was accidentally spilled on the track?

Nothing spilled, it pulls back maybe an inch and half. Enough to get a wire hanger in but not much more

If you bought it used, has it been like this from day one?

No, it used to work fine. Noticed it a few months ago so I am guessing something fell somewhere in there and is jamming it, I just can't tell what/where

Thats where we keep the wireless headphones for our DVD player. If yours came with one could it be the headphones jamming in there which would allow it to open a bit but not all the way? Also is it a hard stop or a squishy stop like something is compressing and then won't compress any further without breaking (which would lead me to mispositioned headphones). Also do you have small kids that may have stuffed something in there?

Yeah, little people. Usually to blame for such issues. When I first bought mine, the stereo gave an error when I tried to insert a CD. Saw something shiny sticking out of the edge of the slot, got a hooked wire and proceeded to dig out about $2.85 in coins out of the CD slot... It works now but I'm paranoid to use it untill I get the time to fully disassemble and make sure I got them all.
